26-27 Executive PSO Board

Allison Strunka-President

I am honored to serve as President of the ALA Vistancia PSO. My passion for supporting schools and building strong school communities began when my daughter started elementary school and has continued as she enters 6th grade. This year is especially exciting for our family as my son begins kindergarten at ALA Vistancia.

Prior to ALA Vistancia opening, I was actively involved in my daughter's previous school through various roles with their PSO.

During ALA Vistancia's inaugural year, I served as a PSO member and led the school's book drive. I also volunteered as a room parent, helped coordinate staff and teacher appreciation events, supported the Spring Carnival, and assisted with many other school activities and initiatives.

As President, I look forward to working alongside families, teachers, staff, and students to create a positive and connected school community where everyone feels supported, engaged, and set up for success.

Hannah Miller-Vice President

 Hi ALA!
I’m Hannah! Mom of one, wife and local small business owner. I’m so excited to be a part of the Parent Student Organization this year!
Arizona became our home a few years ago and walking into a school where we didn’t know many people felt a little intimidating. I joined the PSO organization as a way to volunteer, get involved and connect with other moms! It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made and I’m so grateful for the friendships and sense of community it has created for my family.
I look forward to serving our school alongside all of you, supporting our students and teachers, helping create a welcoming environment for families and making this a wonderful year for everyone!

Shannon Starr-Treasurer

Hello! My name is Shannon and I’m excited to introduce myself as your new PSO Treasurer. I’m a proud parent of two boys at our school, currently in 2nd and 6th grade, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve our school community in this role. I bring several years of experience in event planning, fundraising, and community engagement, and I’m looking forward to using those skills to help support the PSO and make this a successful year for our faculty, staff, students and families. This past year, I had the pleasure of volunteering with the PSO and also serving as a substitute teacher, which gave me an even deeper appreciation for our incredible staff, students, and the strong sense of community within our school. I’m so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to work alongside all of you to create memorable experiences and continue making our school a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow!

Amy Hall-Secretary

Hello everyone! My name is Amy, and I am honored to serve as the PSO Secretary for the 2026–2027 school year. My husband and I relocated to Arizona from New Jersey in 2015. I am a former elementary educator and I am also the proud parent of a fourth-grade student here at ALA.
I became involved with the PSO last year and thoroughly enjoyed helping plan and coordinate the school carnival, along with several other end-of-year events. Those experiences reinforced my appreciation for our school community and the positive impact that parent involvement can have on our students and families.
I look forward to collaborating with this outstanding board as we continue to create and foster a welcoming, supportive environment for our school community.
